What People's Say About Place

Came here on a whim after a day at the Farmer's Market. Location was great, and the menu was delightfully simple. We were offered complimentary side dishes of kimchi and bean sprouts which were delicious. I ordered the beef bibimbap and was grateful they had a spicy sauce on the side that I could add to the dish to my taste. Food was fresh and delicious, portions were great, and I am definitely bringing others back here to enjoy this delicious menu as well!

I've been wanting to try this place out for quite a while, finally had the chance today and I was not disappointed, food was great, as was the service. Authentic dishes, I can't wait to try more. Proportions were on spot. Didn't see all the dining room as we took an open seat at the front windows, but it seemed smaller but no idea how far back the tables went but whatever, I'll definitely be back soon.

Amazing authentic Korean food in WI. Spicy squid was 10/10, great texture and perfect balance of salty and spicy. Dumplings were crispy and flavorful. Loved it and a must try if you are visiting.

It is so nice to have hot pot at a cold night. We ordered the pork neck stew with potatoes(spicy). After around 5-10mins of boil. The meat can easily fell off the bone. It is very flavorful and tender. We also ordered the steamed egg, it even has some seafood inside which is special comparing with other Korean restaurant.

Even on a busy Friday night when every table was full, we were grateful to receive excellent service and, as usual, amazingly tasty food. This place is a real gem. The 육개장 had lots of flavorful beef and I like it when it is done with plenty of long cut green onion. Spice level was perfect (plenty hot but not overpowering). The 돌솥비빔밥 was also excellent. Generous portions of beef and veggies, and the veggies were perfectly seasoned and cooked. There is a lot of prep work that goes into Korean food, and I love that Sol's puts their heart into that.

This was amazing food. We tried the dumpling soup and the veggie Japanese noodles. Both of them are delicious! Portions are huge, so if you’re not incredibly hungry I’d recommend to share. Definitely a top option in Madison!

We went here for my birthday and it was lovely. Only one server, but she did a great job and was very friendly and efficient. Food was delightful. Bulgogi could use a little more sauce, but was tasty regardless.

We drove from 5.5 hours away to try all the mouthwatering foods mentioned in all the k dramas we love so much! This place didn’t disappoint! Best meal in a restaurant we’ve ever had! The side dishes were perfect especially the cucumber kimchi. We had the kimchi pancakes which were the best. Then bulgosi and Yukgaejang and of course Soju! Go there. Make a reservation and just WOW!!!
